The original Pasquini’s was the place you went with your band just before you made it big, where you and your girlfriend ate every Friday night when you were still poor and in love. Tony Pasquini, who opened the original Pasquini’s Pizzeria back in 1986, worked hard to make his joint a unique, welcoming neighborhood Italian restaurant, and he succeeded so well with the concept that the atmosphere carries over to this offshoot in Park Meadows. People come here for the hand-tossed pizzas and the calzones; they come for the cold hoagies; they come for the simple pasta menu; they come for the camaraderie – especially in the attached Primo’s Lounge, a great hangout in this suburban ’hood.
