Don't expect to see Parsley advertising two-for-one deals on a billboard. Don't even expect anyone to answer the phone there. But that doesn't mean they don't care: It just means that this sweet little lunch spot is so busy catering to the needs of its Golden Triangle neighborhood that it's too busy to do anything else. Under the thoughtful guidance of owner Jason Bailey, Parsley has been preparing sandwiches (on City Bakery-supplied ciabatta bread), salads and soups, as well as a variety of veggie juices and smoothies, since 2008. More than a few menu items are veggie-friendly, and more than 50 percent of its ingredients are organic. Enjoy them in a sherbet-bright setting with a spartan, Ikea-like feel to it.

Jason and his staff will blow your mind. Try any of the stuff they make -- sandwiches, salads, smoothies, juices, soups -- and it stands a good chance of instantly making your list of favorites. The reason is simple -- they're fanatical about fresh, high-quality ingredients. The prices reflect this but are not unreasonable for what you're buying. Jason made me a juice one day entirely from (I think) spinach. He dumped a huge amount of it in an industrial-strengh contraption and enough delicious green liquid came out to fill a cup. The amazing part came when he showed me what was still left in the machine -- practically nothing!

WOW - best sandwich I have had in a long long time!! fig, brie and turkey sandwich on Cibatta bread. They do an amazing Mediterranean tuna as well!
