Park Centre Lounge in Westminster -- which touts itself as "the Cheers of North Denver" -- is definitely a step back to a time when lounges were carpeted, wood-paneled and not dominated by plasma screens. There are TVs, yes, but the focus here is on the simple cocktails, big menu and well-worn dance floor. A dedicated DJ booth serves up nightly karaoke, and live bands stop in from time to time, plus there's a separate room for those desiring to play pool and shuffleboard. For more than 25 years, Park Centre Lounge has been serving up a daily steak special at lunch and offers wings, nachos, sliders, salads, burritos, fritters and burgers galore into the late-night hours, with the kitchen cooking until close.
