Impress your clients at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse with massive USDA Prime, dry-aged steaks, a plush atmosphere and a special cigar lounge where you can enjoy expensive cognacs and big fat stogies after dinner. The Galleria-area steakhouse prides itself on a wine list loaded with rare old wines. There's an 1811 Chateau Y'Quem listed for $30,000, but you can find a decent vintage of Bordeaux or Burgundy for a couple hundred dollars. Wines that sell for less than a hundred dollars aren't even worthy of this restaurant's temperature-controlled wine vaults. Bring a big appetite and an even bigger expense account.

    A throwback to steakhouses of generations past, Pappas Bros. has the old-school charm of a private club and is the perfect setting for a power dinner. Plush leather seating, grand marble columns and rich mahogany paneling make this the ideal place to chomp on a stogie and seal a deal. Once you've polished off a buttery 26-ounce porterhouse, take the conversation into the lounge, where an elite selection of cognacs and single-malt Scotch whiskeys await and are sure to impress. And at prices like $600 for a 40-year-old Bowmore Scotch or $500 for a Courvoisier L'Esprit cognac, you'll feel warm all over, knowing the boss or client is picking up the check. So, go ahead and spend away — it's not your dime. Talk about sinful.

    There are only a handful of steak houses in the city that offer dry-aged USDA Prime, and Pappas Bros. Steakhouse has more of them than anybody else.
