Description

Authentic, New Orleans-style Cajun cooking is hard to find around these parts-or at least it was before Pappadeaux came along. Oysters St. Phillip, baked with shrimp, bacon, roasted peppers and Italian bread crumbs are a one-of-a-kind meal starter. And where else but here can you find Crispy Fried Alligator, served with fresh-cut potato sticks and a Creole dipping sauce? We think you'll love the Ponchartrain Pan-Broiled Fillet, topped with crabmeat and shrimp in a wine sauce and served with "dirty rice," a side you'll soon not be able to live without. Scallops Lacombe, tender and seared with fresh garlic and capers in brown butter, are another have-to-have entrée.
