As close to the City of Brotherly Love as you're going to get in the Bayou City, Pappa Geno's offers Philly cheesesteaks that both Philadelphia expats and beef-loving Texans can get behind. In a nod to its Lone Star State location, Pappa Geno's even offers its signature steak and cheese on Texas toast, but you'll want to get a regular Philly just for the wonderfully authentic bread. The owners fly it in from Buffalo, New York, and add Cheez Whiz for that extra Philly oomph.
