Description

Start your drinking adventure at the Wet Willie's portion of Palm Beach Improv. Choose from a rainbow wall of spinning frozen drink machines, ready to dispense preshow drinks. There are 11 kinds, and the bartender will be happy to let you sample as many as you'd like before settling on one. Once inside the Improv, browse the menu for frilly drinks with names as silly as the jokes, served in large glasses. In addition to national acts, head over on a weekday night for local talents performing open mic showcases.

    Hickory Dickory Dock, Tough Guy

He’s a little long in the tooth, and the leather vest is straining a bit at the seams, but age has done zilch to soften the bite in Andrew Dice Clay’s standup. Raunch remains his language of choice, and he throws around the f word — the one that... More »

Close Your Eyes and Repeat After Him

One of the first rules of attending a comedy show: Never be late. The reason: Aside from common courtesy, it's the latecomer who usually gets called out and "incorporated" -- in a not-so-flattering way -- into the set. But at a Flip Orley show,... More »
