Description

Since there was only room for one local-baseball-icon-type establishment in West County's Westport Plaza, the restaurant and sports bar that we all associate with back flips and the Wizard of Oz can now be found along downtown's trendy Washington Avenue. The updated restaurant features enough TVs to offer every seat in the house a view of whatever sporting contest happens to be on that day, as well as small, private screens in each booth. The décor found along the walls highlights St. Louis' rich sports traditions, specifically the Cards and all their success. Fans who remember watching No. 1 cover short will enjoy sitting in a seat from the old Busch Stadium and stealing a glimpse at the hall-of-famer's thirteen Gold Gloves, the most for any shortstop. Ozzie's menu features traditional sports bar fare, including their "Easy-To-Eat Nachos," where individual tortilla chips are each covered in toppings, and "Kick-Ass BBQ Ribs," slow-cooked baby-back ribs covered in a honey barbecue sauce. The full menu also includes burgers, salads and sandwiches, and a kids' menu.
