If you remember the Owl Tree as a kitschy little bar run by an eccentric, owl-obsessed owner, prepare yourself for a surprise: after a long family battle, new management has changed this old downtown drinkery into a flashy, upscale cocktail lounge that retains the name but almost nothing else of its previous personality.
