Elizabeth Falkner, the spiky-haired chef locally famed for her Hayes Valley restaurant, Citizen Cake, goes modern at her SOMA outpost. It features interesting, if not always entirely successful, assemblages of ingredients and techniques. We enjoyed the charcuterie platter and the roast pig entrée from the seasonally influenced menu.
