If you go to Oregano's, go hungry. Or take friends. Even the salads at this mini-chain are beyond gigantic. The thin-crust pizza is a crowd pleaser, and the menu is packed with cute word plays (we love the ad campaign, which includes billboards with sayings like "Legalize Marinara") and a selection of pasta, sandwiches, wings and the aforementioned pizza and salad. Grab a beer and settle in for the inevitable wait - this place is popular. Call ahead or enjoy the pizza samples while you ponder your order.

    Oregano's is awesome. It's a great place to go with a group a friends to spend some good quality time together (because yes, you will have to wait) and eat good food. I personally like this location the best. It might be because this was the first Oregano's I went to, but this one just seems like the standard for the rest of the Oregano's.

this recipe is like an old family friend. we take over a 1/2 lb. of our fresh sausage and make it the chicago way (we’d tell you but you don’t want to meet our friend, rocco.) it’s topped with melted provolone cheese and is a bit hot and spicy.

back up the trailer because we got over a 1/2 lb. of shaved rib-eye beef in this thing. we then add roasted poblano peppers, red onions, havarti cheese and our chef’s special sauce. careful, there’s a little kick to this cow. (fan favorite)

you won’t need a firehose, but this dish definitely has a kick! we toss big shrimp in a special chipotle cream sauce and mix with a unique fettuccine rigate pasta. then we add cotija cheese, pico de gallo and serve with a slice of tasty garlic bread. sound the alarm!
 
Bollo Pasta
(pronounced bowl o’ pasta) our delicious angel hair pasta, made with oregano’s own “spicy” marinara sauce.
 
The Lady Is A Scampi
bunches of huge shrimp mixed with corkscrew pasta, diced tomatoes, fresh cilantro, imported parmesan and fresh garlic, all swimming happily in our chipotle sauce.
 
Zany Ziti
the ziti pasta, meat sauce and a bit of garlic make it zany. but it’s the italian cheeses that make this dishy.
 
Alfredo The Dark
poblanos, pasta and cream, oh my! first, we take the finest cream and teach it spanish! poblano chiles and a special blend of southwest cheeses are sauteed with our spiral pasta. topped with diced roma tomatoes and ‘south of the border’ bread. there’s nothing to be ‘alfredo’ of.

this dish makes all the others turn green with envy! penne pasta, italian cheeses and of course, pesto, mixed with tomato, basil and garlic, then topped with mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and baked to perfection!
