Laguna Beach, CA 92651
OC Weekly's Description
Every Tommy Bahama restaurant seems to function as an independent entity. While the Newport Beach restaurant names its dishes after vacation destinations such as Pebble Beach and Torrey Pines, the Laguna Beach eatery is content in just telling you what you're going to have for dinner. A lobster corn dog is really a lobster corn dog: hunks of sweet, quivery crustacean meat impaled on sticks and encased in a deep-fried cornbread batter indistinguishable from those made by girls in embarrassing uniforms at the mall food court. This is to say, it's good.
Tips from foursquare
Try the sowrdfish sandwich on sourdough, as recommended by Amiee
Tommy Bahama is a nice little restaurant right on PCH. The food that we had here was very fresh and prepared to almost perfection.
The drink to get is the Sunburn. It is a very complex flavor resulting from passion fruit -a muddle jalapino and rum. The service is excellent. The GM Mike is really on top of it.
The lobster mac n cheese really is great!
The lobster truffle mac n cheese the best thing at any restaurant in Laguna Beach. By far
