OC Weekly's Description

Take a stroll among the many watering holes in Downtown Fullerton on a
Friday night and you'll be hard-pressed to find a bar with more rock & roll style than the Slidebar Cafe. Yes, it features two rooms where suicide-girl style bartendresses serve up cocktails along with imported and domestic draft beer. This is also one of the few downtown establishments
presenting top-notch local and national rock acts of the punk, ska and hardcore variety. The walls of the bar are decked out with autographed rock memorabilia and lined with flat screen TVs.Be sure to check out the halls lined with pics taken by rock photographer Lisa Johnson. Images include No Doubt's Gwen Stefani with Warren Fitzgerald of the Vandals. Finer pints of beer, including Shock Top and Newcastle, cost $6, with lower-shelf fare such as Bud Light running $5. Happy hour is every day 3 p.m.-6 p.m. except Saturday. Sunday happy hour is 3 p.m.-9 p.m. and features half off draft beers and well drinks.

Lord love a duck...don't be duped by Slidebar. great place for new band to uh...play.but it lacks. Bought a beer before the bus..then turned downed when I came back. I was wearing athletic pants. Serious? Their night club scene is jeans and slacks? When people working out the most now? (well not me)Dem girls! yep...enjoy the short skirts..again.

The pecans were candied and added a great flavor. Apples were sweet and crisp. Bleu cheese was perfectly paired with its creamy and punchy flavor. The balsamic vinaigrette was just right adding... Best albacore melt ever! The fries don't suck & everything is fresh. Ample parking. Great prices for lunch.

Solid bands play here regularly, and how often can you get amazing mac'n'cheese along with great SoCal rock'n'roll?! Pro-Only Tip: Try the "Dirty Blonde Groupie" shot (SoCo, peach liqueur, pineapple).

$2.00 beers you say? We are sold. Live music, too? That's it, we're movin' in.

Get the beer from the waitress if the bar is too busy

This is the stupidest place in Fullerton. Don't waste your money at those douche magnet bar. Crap attitudes, worse service. Avoid at all costs. Be ye warned, says I.
