OC Weekly's Description
It's bright and manly, with paintings that scream Fatherland. The menu includes duck, elk, wild boar-and the sauerbraten kicks ass. Sauerbraten rules! Parents: Ask to be seated in "The Pit," where your demon spawn won't bug diners noshing on Bambi's mom.
Tips from foursquare
Traditional, authentic German dishes maintained through seven generations of German Cuisine. Check out their specialty,The Roast Ham Hock.
try the brats
Read positive reviews in Yelp. When I arrived, the place was nearly empty. When I tasted the food I realized why. Goulash suppe passable. Spetzle was horrible. Avoid at all costs!
Try the German pancake with lemon and powdered sugar. Delicious with plum sauce.
The spätzle is GOOD!! :)
