Description

OC Weekly's Description

You can sing the praises of Greek Town Grill in Costa Mesa's happening East 17th Street District for its sleek décor (ceiling-to-floor windows, mosaic counter, sexy lighting and chairs), delicious takes on such Greek-American classics as pitas and dolmades, and the fact that owner Jim Marutsos works with fresh ingredients. But also hum some bars for the pear salad, a glistening hill of leaves, candied walnuts, long pear slices and melted gorgonzola.

Love the fries with special seasoning and best hamburger.

  • Kamarin J. on 05/11/12

Definitely been my favorite place for years. Get the gyro plate. Sub pear Gorgonzola salad with it. And idk why people are comparing it to Daphne's there's no comparison.... Daphne's is disgusting.

  • Jess D. on 02/10/10

Grilled vege plate all the way!

  • Andrew M. on 03/31/11

The gyros are pretty amazing. Way better than anywhere else around.

  • Lisa M. on 03/15/10

Bigger portions than daphnes. Deliscious. The pear gorgonzala salad is great and can be included on any of their meals.
