OC Weekly's Description
First served up by Rosa Bírquez in 1923 in LA's original El Cholo Cafe (her grandson Ron Salisbury owns the restaurant group these days), the place's green corn tamales are a Southern California dining institution. On bites two and three, you'll find oozing sharp Cheddar cheese and Ortega chiles, which combined compete against the sweet corn with a snappy alternative.

The only jazz club in downtown Fullerton, it's open to all ages and serves pizzas, panini and focaccia sandwiches along with Cajun- and Thai-inflected dishes.
Located in a Big Lots parking lot, all you can hear are the clangs of a wok and the smells of good home cooking coming from this respected Thai restaurant.
