Al Sanabel Bakery
Anaheim, CA 92804
OC Weekly's Description
The bakery makes only two dishes: pita sandwiches and sphiha. Within this simplicity, though, lies culinary greatness. More than half of the sphihas are strictly veggie affairs, but not the expected roughage-heavy dishes. Instead, the main ingredients are spices-and not the spicy kind. Foreign-to-American-cuisine seasoning like pomegranate sauce is the principal player in Al-Sanabel's sphihas.
Tips from foursquare
The bread for the Sfiha (pizza) is pancake like rather then the traditional fluffy, light, crispy Arabic pizzas. However still tasty. Clean restaurant.
Try their Labna & zaatar
#14 cheese and vegetables, good!
Number 26 is my favorite.
