There’s a time and place for everything, even for self-expression. Sharing with the world what’s really on your mind or showing off a secret human talent (like swallowing golf balls while strumming a mandolin) takes courage. Dada in Delray Beach offers an open-mic night on Tuesdays all year ’round where the creative energy is high and the crowd is receptive. The hip and arty eatery will provide the stage and microphone. You provide the talent. Sign-up begins at 9 p.m., and the night is open to comedians, poets, mimes, and gypsies — whatever. Bands are welcome to set up and bring their own equipment. The first Tuesday of every month is reserved for poets and spoken-word artists only. Dada is located at 52 N. Swinton Ave. in Delray Beach. There is no cover to attend or to participate. A full-service menu and bar serves until 2 a.m. Call 561-330-3232, or visit facebook.com/dadahouse.
