    Foote Notes

Subtlety and skill are on ample display in this duo of Horton Foote one-acts, directed by Scott Paulin. "A Woman of Property," set in Foote's Harrison, Texas, in 1925, revolves around a high-spirited, 15-year-old named Wilma (Juliette Goglia),... More »

The Black Glass at the Hollywood Fringe and Heartbreak House at Theatricum Botanicum

Playwright-director Guy Zimmerman dedicated his new 60-minute play in two scenes, The Black Glass, to the protesters of Occupy Wall Street. This is a fair indication of where his sympathies lie when it comes to the kinds of corporate CEOs who run... More »

    Early and Often

Not since the anticapitalist plays of Brecht have we seen such a savage and cynical send-up of Chicago as that presented in this amusingly sour comedy by Barbara Wallace and Thomas R. Wolfe. On the eve of JFK's election, a state senator (Mat... More »

Consistently wonderful, professional, high-quality performances at this theatre. Current new musical, "The Existents" playing for 9 performances only. Run, don't walk. The music is stunning, the harmonies are tight and perfect, the singers are just incredible. I don't usually like "Rock" musicals cuz they don't have a great story or great music most of the time - just LOUD music. This is a must see.
