Description

Oliver's Twist is a cheerful and pretty little cocktail bar. The walls are crowded with kitschy and colorful artwork, and the booths and stools are generally full with chattering Phinney Ridge locals. Enter under the orange-and-brown striped awning and start with some garlic truffled popcorn, which comes in a little popcorn bag. A mini grilled cheese sandwich with perfectly crispy grilled bread tastes even better when dunked in the accompanying tomato cappuccino. Pick from the menu of house cocktails by reading its tasting notes (the Rose Maylie: "berries with orange and vanilla overtones"). Whether it's a classic Sazerac or one of the many house concoctions - like the Sowerberry, which contains gin, elderflower syrup, and grapefruit juice - these bartenders will mix your drink with practiced expertise.

Good bar snacks, excellent cocktails, impressive spirit selection, good music and low-key vibe. I love everything about this place. If I had a car, I'd be here all the time.

Reminds me of the cool lounge style low key bars I loved while living in San Francisco...Like Bliss in Noe. Great wine, cool staff and some funky thoughtful art and the dark walls. Really love this place!
