The only place open in downtown Fort Lauderdale before 10 a.m., Old Fort Lauderdale Breakfast House serves up locals and last night's bar crowd hearty homemade-style breakfast. The small nautical-inspired interior pumps out traditional farm-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant places emphasis on the old-farmhouse style meal with free-range eggs, organic milk, and homemade baked goods--think oven baked pancakes and made-from-scratch biscuits and gravy. While OB does serve lunch and dinner, the breakfast, which the place is named after, goes on all day and night--perfect for that late afternoon, downtown hangover.
