Hidden from the street in the midst of Park Slope, Ocean 8 at Brownstone Billiards sports an under-decorated and over-populated sports bar that is the prime spot for home-games and altogether camaraderie. The walls are lined with flat screen televisions, and when seasons are over, the joint is still home to all your sports bar games: pool, table tennis, mini-bowling alleys, air hockey, and basketball hoops (and if you're keen to get better at playing games while drunk, the bar provides classes for all these games to preface your night of impressing onlookers). Redesigned after Amsterdam's billiard halls, Ocean 8 sees a wide range of patrons, from teens to couples to the elderly. The bar provides 24 beers on draft along with their classical American menu of burgers and wings. The ambiance won't let you leave, but Oceans 8 is open late, so you won't have to. --Lori Trigonis
