This cozy spot is owned and operated by chef Fulvio Leone, who hails from the northern region of Lombardy, Italy--but his mom comes from Austria, hence specials like pork schnitzel. Other than that, the menu is mainly generic Italian-tagliatelle with mushrooms, cheese ravioli and yellow and red pepper lasagna-along with some Northern Italian favorites, like an amazing rendition of bread gnocchi in a butter sauce with roasted butternut squash. Everything, even a simple lentil salad, is far, far better than it needs to be, lovingly seasoned and cooked. Don't miss Leone's homemade lemoncello for a nightcap.
