Description

The "C & S" in the name stands for Caribbean and Soul Food, the former in a mainly Jamaican vein, with a little Bajan thrown in for good measure. Many great Jamaican breakfasts are available till they run out early in the afternoon, including an exemplary ackee with saltfish, with the scrambled-egg-like dish desposited on a bed of "ground provisions," which include boiled yuca, potato, and plantain. What a feast, and it's vegan, too. The Soul Food staples like fried chicken and mac and cheese are also well-executed, and the newly furnished dining room is a delight in itself. Of course, there's a framed picture of Obama.
