Nosh Bistro is the sexier version of The Queen Vic Pub or Pondicheri: a hip, well-dressed yet casual spot for clever Indian fusion in Upper Kirby. Naan-based pizzas are turned out of its central oven, although Indian-influenced dishes such as braised short ribs and fresh pasta are — surprisingly — the better bets here. At lunch, don't miss the beef or lamb burgers, both served with vegetable fries and cooked to order.
