There aren't a hell of a lot of Korean restaurants in Brooklyn, (I count four), but they tend to be watered down for non-Korean diners. On the lip of the Atlantic Yards, Noo Na ("Big Sister") is something of an exception, offering an unreconstructed but abbreviated Korean menu in a chill and plain liquor-bar setting. Get jiggy with kimchee ji gae, a fiery stew of seafood and vegetables, or enjoy the Korean barbecue -- served on a sizzling stone platter -- called kal bi: marinated strips of tender rib meat that beg to be slathered with red bean paste and wrapped in lettuce leaves. Skip the non-Korean bar food.
