In a poll conducted to determine what Arizona’s state food should be, we pit the Sonoran hot dog against the prickly pear cactus fruit, and hot dogs won by a pretty wide margin. One of the best versions can be found at a stand on the southwest corner of 20th Street and Indian School Road in CenPho. Don't go looking for Nogales Hot Dog during the day -- it doesn't exist. With a tent, a few picnic tables, and a TV, dog biters can get their bacon-wrapped wiener con todo (with everything) or belly up to the condiment stand where shredded... More »
