Description
The Nightingale Lounge looks intimidating from the outside, its windows and entrance barricaded by dark velvet drapery. But once you make it in, the lounge presents itself as an extension of your wealthy friend's tricked-out basement. In the back, there's a pool table; in the center, a popcorn machine. Plush couches line the right side of the room, while the left hosts a metallic bar with glowing, pink panels lining the wall. The East Village locale, however, generally seems to prefer quirkier, grittier hang-out spots, so it's up to you and your posse to populate Nightingale's small dance floor. Or coax the bartender to turn on that popcorn machine.
