Newcomb’s Ranch is a super-cool biker's oasis located about 40 or so miles up one of the most popular motorcycle routes in the world, the Angeles Crest Highway. It’s a rustic, road-side cafe that’s been there for years and years. The food is decent (Sunday bbq is pretty good, as are their burgers and fries), the service is great, and the place is always packed with bikers but you don’t have to be a biker to enjoy it.? Take half a day and head up the Crest to see what I'm talking about. It’s high up in the mountains, away from the traffic and smog, and the drive is amazing.
