Village Voice's Description
Billing itself as a Japanese rural steakhouse, Yakiniku features acres of polished woods, broad low tables with recessed legroom, and a trickling fountain at the end of the dining room, framed by a bamboo grove. In the center of each table is a ventilated barbecue grill, and you will be held responsible for cooking most of your meal on it. Choices range from several kinds of steak to seafood to chicken, and a nifty set meal which includes salad, soup, rice, kimchee, the grillables, tea, and dessert. More exotic meats, like tongue, tripe, and intestines, are available a la carte.
