The newest offering from Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto is an international mash-up of culinary styles in Tribeca, and a wacky descent into lowbrow comfort food for the celebrity chef. Diners can pick their way through a greasy, over-the-top platter of nachos, layered with lumps of fried shrimp and slick with ranch dressing. Other options include bloated, watery gyoza and spongy corn dogs. Even the truly nice staff cannot make up for a syrupy, ill-conceived tiramisu slider, which only magnifies the kitchenâs flaws. It's hard to explain why on any given night, the place is packed with a well-dressed crowd of pre-gamers sipping on vodka cocktails called "Casual Encounters." If you choose to wait for a table (why would you?), be sure to appreciate the strange chandeliers crafted from Indonesian vines and the jet-black toilets, as those are the most exciting of the restaurantâs pale offerings. --Tejal Rao

Sea Bass really is magical. Also amazing: fried chicken (on snacks menu), brussel sprouts & bone marrow mash (sides.) I can't believe I'm only just discovering this place! So delish!

Absolutely order the Wagyu as an app, and if you like Sea Bass, theirs is magical.
Excellent! Skip the fish and chips and pot pie. Definitely try the sea bass, lamb buns and skirt steak!
