Village Voice's Description
The Townhouse brings together the refined, suited elegance of professional gay men and the unabashed sauciness of a cruise club channeling, perhaps, the bygone era of Wildean refinement and decadence. The trained staff of barmen have gotten pouring martinis down to a fine art. Patrons can choose from one of three bars over two floors, all bedecked in fine oil paintings, and a piano area complete with show tunes or they can venture downstairs to the cruise area and drop the politeness, so to speak. Happy hour is 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day but get out your cuff links and suit up for the occasion.
