Village Voice's Description

Take the Lower East Side Walking Tour from April to December, Saturday & Sunday at 1 & 3 p.m. The tour visits a dozen sites important to immigrants past and present, including synagogues and churches, schools and storefronts. Visitors can discover how different waves of immigrants have transformed the neighborhood landscape.

Visitors Center Hours: Monday 11am-5:30pm; Tuesday-Friday 11am-6pm; & Saturday & Sunday 10:45am-6pm
