Village Voice's Description

A Copenhagen native, Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø has brought Brooklyn a sleek, streamlined approach to craft beer. Greenpoint's Tørst is bright and modern with clean wood-paneling and an equally clean-cut clientele to match. The owner's very own Evil Twin are the featured suds here, but there's also an expertly-chosen rotating draft, poured from a state-of-the-art system that keeps each individual brew at its ideal temperature. Cheese, charcuterie, and modernized Danish fare is on the food menu, with a bargain pig roast every Sunday. It's a just a block shy of McCarren Park and the Nassau Avenue G train.

Tips from foursquare

  • Scandinavian mood.. Best bar in North Brooklyn 🍻..

If you like your beers, this is the place to go. 21 quality beers on tap is not too bad, honestly. Notice the beer tap handles get darker with the beers they serve. Quality design. Quality beers.

120 bottled beers and 21 taps at this beer destination curated by Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø of Evil Twin brewery.

Amazing new bar in the Greenpoint area. Tons of European brews to try, most of them you've probably never heard of! If you are looking for something different, try this place!

This bar has about 200 absurdly obscure beers (including 21 on tap). The Omnipollo Nebuchadnezzar is a great double IPA.
