Village Voice's Description

The first St. Patas was down in Little Italy, which is where you might expect it to be. When the seat of the archdiocese was moved, James Renwick was asked to design the newer, grander cathedral, which now sits in the center of Fifth Avenue.

One of the most peaceful and serene places in NYC and a great place to take a break from shopping. The gothic architecture is, for a better word, heavenly.
