Village Voice's Description
Queen Vic, the new pub on the block, specializes in that deadliest of combos: beer and fish 'n' chips. Though they don't particularly focus on Brit brews ("Wait, is Newcastle British?" asks the waitress), they do offer other delights: high tea, homemade pudding, and a loving interior-design homage to that cheeky place across the pond. Beside the cute faux-fireplace area, for example, a shelf contains three framed photos: the Beatles on the left, Winston Churchill in the middle, Mick Jagger to the right. All great wingmen/drinking buddies.
