Gabe Stulman expands his West Village-based Little Wisco empire (Joseph Leonard, Chez Sardine, and Fedora) with this bustling Minetta Lane bistro, where heaping plates of pillow-shaped agnolotti, plump with braised beef and Parmesan, follow poetic dishes of sweet blue prawns in brown butter and yogurt. Chef Michael Toscano, formerly of Babbo and Eataly's Manzo, panders to indulgent diners with fat wallets, so it's best to arrive with an empty stomach and a full checking account. Enjoy the feast while taking in the darkly romantic dining room until the last moment, when tender, fennel-dusted sugar cookies arrive with a Scopa card -- and the bill. --Tejal Rao

do you like early 90s hip hop and expensive italian? me too. great date spot but they only take reservs for parties of 4 so be prepared to wait. octopus antipasti is excellent as is the pork.
The pancetta-wrapped rabbit will feel right at home being shoved down your hole.
