Village Voice's Description
In a world of steel-eyed death and aging hipster-wannabes, DUMBO bar Pedroas remains oddly, pleasantly down-to-earth. Its south-of-the-border milieuas too various to be oppressive, beers like Presidente and Sol ($3) come right from the fridge, and the chicken burritos ($6) are big enough for two. Margaritas are stiff and sweet in Purple, Passion, Sunrise, Tropical, and Sour Apple ($6). Plus, happy hour ($1 off) is till 7 daily and thereas jazz Thursdays.
Tips from foursquare
Sit in the sun, stare at the neon exterior and drink Presidentes until delirious.
Skip the food, get a margarita.
Stick with the basics--rice, beans & meat. Check for Mexican Coke, which they have sometimes.
I had a blast the bartender rosy is great. The food is great and sitting outside is always nice. I think some people just expect 5 star resturant when its not .. U def get what u pay for here
FINALLY decent Mexican in the city! Had to come to Dumbo for it. Chorizo, fish and chicken tacos for the #win. Margaritas with sangria topping is da bomb
