Description

Village Voice's Description

Paris Sandwich's banh mi are different than the Italian bread models we're accustomed to;they deploy real French baguettes which are made on the premises (dig the amazing baguette-slicing machine in the rear). There are nearly a dozen choices of banh mi. Our favorites are grilled pork, Vietnamese meatball (inundated with something that tastes like Russian dressing), and the seemingly redundant "sardine fish." Baguettes made into garlic bread are also available, as is a modest menu of perfectly good Vietnamese standards, including spring and summer rolls, and beef stew and curried chicken, both served with a baguette, of course.

Tips from foursquare

The former Paris Sandwich now offers tasty pho and not-too-sweet stir fried dishes.

  • Tariq B. on 09/24/11

The $5.50 combo includes a smaller baguette sandwich, a delicious and unique green tea waffle and a tea or coffee on the side. Great deal and the bread is made fresh on site!
