Village Voice's Description

Conveniently materializing just above the Bedford stop on the L, Oasis immediately blew the neighborhood's other pita purveyor right out of the water. The appetizing salads are fresh, the baba is appropriately mellow and smoky, and the grilled-to-order lamb kebab and grainy sausage make this place worth going many subway miles to get to. Imagine living nearby.

Oasis falafel = best $3 you'll spend on food in Williamsburg

  • The Corcoran Group on 03/04/11

Possibly the best Falafel in Williamsburg. Try the Falafel sandwich for only $3. Go a little more upscale and dine on a Shawarma platter for $9.

  • Village Voice on 03/14/11

The $6 veg platter has herb-and-chickpea orbs that are freshly fried-they nestle into whatever they're dropped upon, whether it be cabbage slaw, heap of pickles and pickled peppers, or well of tahini

  • Enia T. on 09/10/09

    best falafel in the neighborhood

  • Chad A. on 04/04/10

Falafel: best around for only $3
