Village Voice's Description
Deep in the West Village, Mojo Coffee offers a cozy, wood-paneled vibe (exposed brick, weathered vintage coffee cans) and free wifi--if you can snag a seat. Open and busy since early 2007, the cafe has endeared itself to the neighborhood with freshly roasted and brewed Rainforest Alliance-certified coffee and espresso, plus a range of hot drinks including a fresh ginger steamer made with honey and lemon. Add a changing selection of soups, big fresh salads, and sandwiches (everything from virtuous hummus to a chicken quesadilla) made with organic, locally sourced ingredients, plus a full breakfast menu (whether youâre looking for a bowl of cereal, a stack of pancakes, or thick-cut Canadian bacon), and you might find yourself there all day. Itâs low key and the baristas are friendly, though they only accept cash--and itâs a long walk to the nearest ATM. --Diana Clarke

Winner of Best Coffeehouse in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! Perfect mix of atmosphere, good coffee, and light fare.
Feel like your stepping into the Pacific Northwest in this wood-lined coffee shop! It’s a great place to study and enjoy cup of joe. It’s cash only and gets pretty crowded.
Amazing coffee.... Could rival Joe for best coffee...
The vibe in here is great. The staff is friendly and the drinks are good. Only downside is that it's a little more expensive than a typical cafe. $5 for a medium iced latte
An "understated escape from Sixth Avenue's noise" is how local designer, Jacqueline Rousseau, describes Mojo, her fav coffee spot! Check out a limited edition Printed Chambray Tie by Jacqueline here!
