Village Voice's Description
The privately-owned MetLife Stadium is home to both the New York Giants and the New York Jets NFL franchises. It opened its doors in spring 2010, a 10,000-plus seat, illuminated beacon out in the middle of New Jersey's Meadowlands. It also hosts concerts for big-name artists, expos, and the occasional monster truck rally. Getting there can be a bit of a pain if you lack the personal vehicle, but it's possible on a New Jersey Transit train out of Penn Station or a Coach USA bus. Your dining options are pretty much limited to stadium food but with over 60 vendors you won't go hungry.
HOME OF THE NY GIANTS & NY JETS. In the Fall of 2010, a new era began. Two storied teams united in one remarkable stadium- a year round venue for NFL football, events and entertainment that will redefine the fan experience.
