Description

Village Voice's Description

Not the best ramen in the city, but a solid and utilitarian place to kill a craving. At lunchtime the place is filled with Japanese students and businesspeople slurping down the springy yellow noodles in various broths, like spicy miso, salt, seaweed, or pork bone. Toppings include sliced pork belly, scallions, bamboo, or a wonderfully gooey soft-poached egg.
