Village Voice's Description

Though nominally a French bistro, the long-running Market Café also proffers a menu of delicious individual pizzas (our favorite: clam and mozzarella) and formidable pasta choices, in addition to maverick Swedish specials come Christmastime. The Formica fixtures date from an earlier establishment, and the neighborhood hipsters and in-the-know tourists who frequent the place like it that way.

    eat the Scallops

Not to be overly mean, but just KEEP walking past this place... The frozen chicken breasts are blocking in your mouth and the burger is ridiculously small for $14! Scallops were good. Overall: 3/10

Total dump. Don't even waste your time.
