    It seems so strange that at this moment in the nation's history -- gays in the military, gay marriage, etc. -- that we would need a museum devoted solely to Lesbian and Gay art. Yet, the truth is that a museum such as the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art is still very necessary, indeed.     A nice free attraction in NY, with very mature exhibitions. The theme is treated in different levels, so you can find the "obvious" gay themes as well as some surprising stuff. Recommended.
