Landbrot specializes in artisanal German breads, many of which are made with dark rye flours. Throughout the day, the bakery also offers a range of granny-chic pastries, like sticky Linzer cakes and jelly-filled Berliners, hefty sandwiches and café-style meals. Though none of the café fare is worth a trip, the bread and the warm pretzels—baked upstairs using German equipment—certainly are.

This bakery bar offers a variety of German breads, pastries, and pretzels, plus an awesome list of German beers. We love the apple strudel and often come here for it post-dinner.
For breakfast or lunch, the breads are exemplary, especially the double-crusted rye and cheese-pretzel pockets. If you come at night, try the buttered and pan-fried schnitzel served on kaiser rolls.
The bakery specializes in artisan German bread, each delicious and requiring many splashes of butter. The pastries are also a highlight — the Berliners and Linzer cakes are particularly comforting.
Cambozola Sandwhich is fantastic.
A little overpriced for the size of beers but they do German food right! The mustard is so spicy...and I dig it.
