Village Voice's Description

Afro-Panamanian cooking displays a wild assortment of influences-the wonderful deep-fried flatbread called ojaldo points to Africa and India. This hopping Prospect Heights café and social club features snacks and filling soups at lunch, and more ambitious sit-down meals at suppertime. Favorite dish: curried liver and onions.

Please try the calypso shrimp. It is truly amazing. I had it with yellow rice. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
