Village Voice's Description

This theme park of a French brasserie offers several appealing locales for dining and drinking: a barroom, a back room, a solarium, even a rooftop bar that catches breezes off the East River late into the warm summer evenings. The menu, too, offers something for everyone, including saucisson lyonnaise slicked with mustard vinaigrette mounted on boiled potatoes, cod brandade furnished with toasts, braised lamb shank with veggies, and a hamburger that may arrive done or overdone, depending on the mood of the cook. Some evenings Juliette is packed with pretty cocktail-swilling ingenues.

It's all about the rooftop on a spring day. Good for light dishes and happy hour. Great spot to just hang and watch the sunset in good company.

Tips from foursquare

It just might be the coziest rooftop in Williamsburg—and with as much French spoken as in Paris. The happy hours rock with joie de vivre that is inimitably Juliette.

Avoid this place. Service is extremely poor and food is just so-so. Lazy hipster waitresses.

Sit at the bar if you like your drinks strong.

Roof top! Roof top! Roof top! Did I say.., roof top?!
