New York, NY 10027
Village Voice's Description
Leaning heavily toward showing sport that the Irish play or at least are competing in, this Irish sports bar is also a venue for beer connoisseurs. They feature cask ale (not the beer equivalent of cask wine, no), which is beer in its purest form; unfiltered, room termperature, and naturally carbonated. The expected type of American/Irish bar food is also available.
Tips from foursquare
amazing beer selection on tap. chill pub vibe
If you're a sports fan, stop into this neighborhood pub to watch the game with some great microbrews. Not to mention all the free popcorn you could ask for!
Try the Fried Pickles and the Nachos at one of NYC’s finest craft beer bars. Check their website for what's on tap as it rotates weekly.
Ariel is stupid. Go back to Brooklyn or the dirty East Village where you can try to be 'different'. Leave our pub in peace and we will enjoy it without you.
The Ruben is really good, if you're into that sort of thing
