Village Voice's Description

Poised at the corner of Maria Hernandez Park, this café offers modified greatest hits of southern Mexican cuisine in pleasant surroundings. The weekend pozole is stout and nourishing; accompanied by a lush tostada, it makes a full meal. Weekdays, lunch on chicken, goat, or cow tongue tacos or, even better, chilaquiles-tortilla chips tossed with green chile sauce surmounted by a pair of fried eggs. For dinner, select the familiar mole enchiladas or chicken adobo, a quarter-bird bathed in vinegary red chile sauce.

Good tacos, especially al pastor. Watch out for your shoes — the supple tacos will dribble pineapple and chile-flecked pork juice. Get it to go and get messy in Maria Hernandez Park. - Bushwick BK

Awesome tortas, especially the chorizo. Also have good Horchatas.

One of the best taquerias in the hood, but they are kinda slow. Call in your to-go orders.

Costillas abodada was delish. Just the right spiciness. The meat fell off the bone.
